Cherwell Bond Scheme – bond claim form

This form must be completed within 21 days of the end date of the tenancy

Please note the Council can only pay up to the value of the bond if a claim is made in excess of this amount.

Please provide two written quotes for all items that are individually over £250.00 and submit these along with your claim.

Have these quotes and rent statements ready to upload as you will need to submit these with this form.

The Council will make allowances for fair wear and tear when assessing claims for damages. 

Note that the bond only covers uninsurable damage that is not covered under standard buildings insurance policies.

If the Council makes a payment to you a follow up visit may be made to ensure that work has been completed.
